Howdy y'all, been lurking round this forum for the last month or 2 and figured I'd join. Got on order, 6 weeks this Wednesday , a full stainless Pitts and Spitts maverick 850 with wifi and big wheels. Been smoking on my weber 22 inch smokey mountain last 2 years and like the idea of setting and forgetting. Will post pics once I take delivery. Hoping by next or following weekend. I have 40 pounds of knotty wood pellets almond and plum and 40 pounds of lumber jack competition blend

Status update
After waiting close to 10 weeks my pellet smoker arrived. Super happy with the quality of the grill and the smoke it produces. I have some goodies coming in from snake river farms that will be going on this weekend for memorial day.

That is one Pretty Smoker. Have fun...JJ

Welcome! And what a fine smoker you're getting.
Sometimes stainless can make a cooker look like something out of a hospital. But that one really looks sharp...and will still look that way for many years.

Welcome from New Jersey! You will love your new Pitts and Spitts 850. I have a P&S Maverick 2000 and it is a great cooker. This weekend I did an overnight Whole Packer Brisket, Bacon Burn't ends, and peach baked beans which all turned out great. I am using Lumber Jack pellets as well. LJ produces a lot of ash but steady temperatures.
