I’m 55 years old and recently retired. I’m long time avid griller since my dad taught me on the old Weber kettle starting when I was 6 years old. I got my first smoker about 25 years ago and just upgraded to a Rec Tec 700 a few days ago and am loving it. We have two college kids and one in high school and get a lot of visitors at our lake home near Brainerd MN so I often will cook for 15+ people on the smoker and grill 5 days a week in the summer. Looking forward to learning a lot from the members here and becoming better at the craft of smoking now that I have a bit more time on my hands.
