I've been on the hunt for a pellet grill with the direct grill capability and came across a good deal on a floor model LG700 that had been used once. Got front and side shelves and a 40lb bag of pellets thrown in and a good price on a cover. Can't wait to do some real BBQ when it warms up a little. -16 Celsius right now. Hopefully next weekend.

That's some serious snow!

Truth be told I did use it both days last weekend after picking it up but it was just to grill sausages one night and burgers the next. The grill ran great even in those temps. I'm doing ribs this weekend no matter what the weather! And I'll post some q view as well.

Did some wings tonight. Smoked at 250 for an hour then turned it up to 375 for 20 min. Tossed some in some Lemon Pepper and the rest in Frank's, vinegar and butter. We were fighting over the last one.

Those wings look great! Glad you are getting into the pellet smoker.

Points for a great smoke on a new rig.

Thanks guys, I'm loving it. Ribs cooked faster than expected on Sunday but I'll learn and adjust for next time. I've got a pork shoulder in the freezer so that will probably be next.
