The war dept has denied my application for the new Masterbuilt gravity rig but she did allow an Oklahoma Joe "Rambler" table top grill.
I've been looking at the cheap junk grills offered by seemingly every home supply store I've been in, including Academy sports (bit of a surprise there, they usually have decent cook gear), but this one caught my eye so I pushed the button and it arrived today.
I'm a bit shocked at how good this thing is, it weighs around 45lbs and is made of thicker steel than the cheapo junk grills I've seen.
Cast iron cook surface and the charcoal tray is thick and heavy steel.
I like the raise and lower function on the charcoal tray too.
The supplied and branded temp gauge appears to me to be made by tru-tel, other than the branded face lable it's the same as my Tel-tru branded units.
Of course I had to change something, so I used a spare Tel-tru just for grins.
