I've been making sausage for 25+ years as a hobby, and plan on doing a lot more now that I'm retired. I live in the woods of Louisiana, and it's not unusual to see deer, turkey, hogs, or black bear in my yard on a regular basis. I retired from a major oil company after working there for 41 years, and I'm living my dream; of being away from civilization. Although it is 25 miles to the nearest supermarket, the peace and quiet is hard to beat in my opinion. The only thing I haven't done yet, is to purchase another bass boat and do more fishing. My wife loves to hunt and fish, and loves the solitude as well. Looking forward to getting to know you and learning more!
