Hwello I've been smoking with anelectric smoker for years. I decided it was time to move on so I bought a 30inch by 8 foot tank and decided to join you guys so maybe you could give me some direction.

Welcome to the forum. There are a few people in here that have built or are building their own smokers. I also will try to follow the progress on your smoker as I will be building one in the future.
Right now I got a Brimkman smoker and a char-broil stainless five burner.I can get ( racks of baby backs on the grill but I want to build a pull behind stick burner outa the tank I just got. I live in Kentucky about twenty minutes south of where they have the International BBQ Fest.
