Hello everyone from northeast Ohio! I bought my very first smoker yesterday, a Masterbuilt 40" propane from Cabela's. I haven't seasoned it yet, but I can't wait to get it done and start smoking, even though it's only 5 degrees! I am mainly going to make deer and beef jerky, probably smoke wild turkey and fish. Any input on this smoker or recipes are much appreciated!

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum from a cloudy and windy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of        great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Thanks Gary! I just passed through Texas in October heading to NM for an elk hunt, nice down there. I can't wait to get smokin'!
