Just inherited my father-in-law's Char-Griller w/ Side Fire Box and I'm ready to fire it up!! Been reading up a lot over the past couple of days on this great site and I'm ready for my first weekend with the smoker. Was thinking about doing something small and fairly "quick" tomorrow to test out my temp control skills and then go all out on Sunday for my first brisket.
Anyway, hello from Texas and wish me luck!! (any opening tips appreciated
