Those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can be free!! So while we are having our fun with fam and friends this weekend... take a few minutes to honor those who gave that ultimate sacrifice!

A sincere appreciation to them all!

Also, thank you to those who served and are serving in our armed forces... my fam and I appreciate your service to our country!

100% agree. Our Family feels exactly the same. We often take our Veterans for granted, and need to be reminded of how they need our appreciation and thanks, daily, not just on the Special days. Thank you for posting this.

I come from a family on both sides that served! My Dad, both Grandpas, Uncles, etc... I did not serve... one of my biggest regrets in life!

My Grandpa (Dads side) served in WWII on the front lines for years, though he would never speak of it! And lost a great Uncle in WWII as well!

Our fam loves our country and sincerely appreciates those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, those who have served and those currently serving!

Amen ! My father served and my son has been in for 10 yrs as a Corpsman stationed now at Lejeune. Worked with a POW for 13 yrs and ex wife's grandfather was POW both in Germany. Rarely any mention of their ordeals from either.

All gave some, some gave all.....for the freedoms that we enjoy and take for granted daily.

I agree, they need the appreciation seven days a week all year, every year!

Exactly---This Memory is for those who didn't make it back.
For Me it's Gary Holland, and Johnny Milikan, both from my High School, and many others in my outfit from The 9th Infantry Division, in Dong Tam, RVN.
RIP My Friends.

Bear

Thank you Bear for your service, I’m sure sorry about your friends.... I can’t imagine what you Vietnam Vets went thru, but have the highest respect and regard for you all! Again, Thank You!

My Grandpa on my Dads side seen the worst of WWII on the front lines, however he never talked about it! But on the front lines, I can’t imagine the loss he seen... He would speak of the areas he seen... Australia, Germany, etc... But nothing about the war!

Well said, the ones that were there just didn’t talk about it! Can’t imagine what they went through, but they have my total and sincere appreciation and respect! Will forever be in debt to them!

Please tell your son Thank You for his service!

Totally agree. Please thank your Son as well. My Father served in WWII in Burma, My FIL served in the Navy in the Korean War. Both rarely spoke of it when they were alive, RIP. Fil only spoke about the good food they got when they were on submarines, lol.
