Hello everybody! Just joined smf. Also just retired after 32 years and will be using my smoker alot more. I'm from Owasso, OK and as my name indicated I'm a fisherman.

What do you use to protect a wood deck from hot ashes from the fire box?

You can get a stove board to put under it. It will also help keep any fluids from staining your deck. But always keep an eye out for those meteors that try to get by you.
