I like to use the stone fire brand naan breads to make quick pizzas. Nice and soft bubbly dough works perfect. I did two kinds. One with leftover pulled pork. That one has pulled pork, BBQ sauce, pepperoncini peppers, pineapple, cheddar cheese. The other one is a Margherita style pizza with sliced Roma tomatoes fresh mozzarella olive oil and some fresh basil. I didn't take a lot of pics but here they are.

This one is the pulled pork bbq pizza

And here is a few pics of the margarita pizza

Really great quick meal! Thanks for looking!

That's funny Sue and I do pretty similar type pizzas...quick easy and really good.

Both styles look great!

Thanks John ! I actually made these last week one night. Been really busy and not able to post much on here. Those naan breads are a little more money than a pre made pizza crust but man oh man are they so much better!

Those pizza's look delicious Travis, niece piece of work and a big Like! I never heard of naan bread before but might be giving that a try. I usually make my own pizza dough from scratch but have only four packets of yeast left in the pantry, yeast is harder to find than toilet paper. RAY

Thanks RAY! Yea give the naan a try. You can make them yourself too in a pan on the stove top. Lots of recipes out there on the net.

Those all look great Travis!! I'd tear into either of them and smile the whole time doing it. I'm thinking pizza tonight as it looks like my original dinner plans are gonna get derailed due to weather...really nasty weather. I can run the grill to do pizzas but don't want to uncover the Santa Maria in a monsoon.

Wow!!

Thanks Robert ! The weather has put a damper on things here as well. I dont mind using my drum in the rain but this wind is killing me. Really messing up my chances to get out crappie fishing too. They are in pre spawn now here but a big cold front came in and really slowed that up.

These just went in the oven. Wish I had a outdoor pizza oven! I could do a lot of things with one if those lol! I run mine as hot as it gets 550°

Thanks.

I hear you about the outdoor pizza oven!

In the past, we've cooked pizzas in the gasser on a pizza stone with a little bit of wood chips.
The flavor is out of this world.
The only reason we haven't done pizzas in the gasser lately is because the pizza stone is still packed away. LOL.

I know where you're coming from with regard to the weather. We are right in the middle of a huge band of vicious storms coming through. Torrential rain, high winds, and tennis ball sized hail. Typically I don't let the weather hamper me from cooking whatever I want to cook, even if it means potentially using a different cooker than I'd originally planned. I was gonna spin a CPB prime rib on the Santa Maria today. That's one that I don't want to use a different cooker for though. Sure I could but really have my heart set on doing that over an open fire and on the rotisserie. It's just gonna have to wait till tomorrow when this crap blows out of here.

I have a pizza stone. Guess I need to get it out. Its a small one though. I would like to get a bigger one. That would be a lot less money than an outdoor pizza oven too lol!

Yep. Deffinatly wait for that one. I can't wait to see that cook posted. It wont be the same on anything else!

Travis, as you know I love crappie fishing also, so post up some dead fish pics when you do get to go after'em.

John
John, I'll be taking pics for sure. This is really the first year Ryder will be pretty independent while fishing so hopefully we can bring in a big haul. We went last Wednesday with no luck but ryder was tearing up the bull heads with minnows. Lol! 0408201944a.jpg

Travis, great picture, and nice lookin' cat. Tell Ryder nice job!

I remember being that age and fishing for cats and gills at the docks whenever we went camping. Lake Cowan sticks in my head as one of the places we used to go a lot.
