I've been a good boy so I thought I needed a present. My wife thinks I'm getting compulsive with my collection of equipment. Maybe she is correct...

My old green Weber will go to my youngest boy. A hand me down from his father.  Thats just how I got my first kettle.

Just in time for the tailgate season at Tech. Tell your bride that you only bought it so you could pass on the one you had to the boy, just like your Dad did for you. LOL .......

You might as well go ahead and start getting quotes for a contractor to build that outside by the pool kitchen and cabana. You know its comming.

Oh and nice looking grill.

BD nice! Was it hard to convince her that you were a good boy? LOL

Good Luck with it and I am sure your son will be happy.

Sweet man. I need a kettle.
Agreed Adam. They are a great basic cooker. Well built and last a long time. I've always owned the base three legged model which can be bought at the home improvements retailers for under a hundred bucks.  I splurged a bit on this one mounted on a cart.  b

It's funny how as those kids grow up , they become more interested in cooking outside. No doubt it has nothing to do with being like "the old man". Most likely it's driven by all the free beer that the cook gets at those tail gate parties. They are smart that way...

Me being "good" is always a subjective question around this house Richie!

BD, nice "tool" to make great food..... I suppose that will lessen the burden on your bride, when it comes to kitchen "chores".... lol

Thanks Dave. Ive had one for many years.  And yes, she appreciates that my assorted smokers and grills are used frequently!

Alright enough talk! Show us some Q-view! Come on what's it gonna be? Hot wings, ABT's and T-bones?
LOL  I agree Case.  Enough small talk.  I'll break her in with simple stuff.  Cheese burgers and maybe a link of sausage.

That's awesome b, nice new set up & very cool passing yours on to your boy ! We gotta keep the TBS flowin for the next generations ! Nice job bro !

I am sorry, Brian. You have upset me greatly with this post.To suggest that equipment necessary to provide sustenance for your family is a toy is outrageous. It is a tool. Your missus should be grateful that you are only willing to use the best to feed your family.

I will go harumph in a corner now.
