After a long grieving process with the death of my last lab, this girl got a new home and lots of love to go with it. 9 month old rescue Ghita took an uncanny liking to me and wouldn't leave my side at the shelter. She has been home a week, has fit in well and is taking to training. As I progress with my spinal rehab therapy her companionship will be invaluable asset to make it alot more tolerable. Thanks to everyone at AWANJ shelter and their great staff. Can't wait for my first cook with her.

What a beauty and you can't question love at first sight or should I say Sniff. Great to hear you had success with the rescue. The ASPCA gave us nothing but a hard time trying to adopt. But in 3-4 weeks my new buddy will be joining our family. The new baby is the smallest of a litter of Beagles with 13" parents...JJ

Congrats on the new family member. And good for you on getting a rescue pup. She looks right at home, for sure.

My two rescues are my best food critics. Haven't snubbed their noses to anything I've cooked. :drool

She definitely is a sweety pie with those eyes that you just can't get upset with. House training her gets me up and out every hour plus which benefits me right now. Good luck with your pup Chef.
