Warren has been sick literally on his death bed. I had a blood poisoning and pancreatis 30 days in the hospital and 8 weeks in rehab. Lost the use of my legs from the time in bed which was 30 days on my back. Made 2 trips into ICU during my stay still learning to regain the use of my legs. Some of the hospital staff don't know how I pulled through it I guess because I'm a tough old bastard and the good Lord was not ready to take me home.

I kind of been helping pcfarmer with his gathering which is only a month away and I'm not going to be able to make it I'm still not driving. So if you had plans to attend contact pcfarmer.

So sorry to hear that. being a hard-headed old fart myself I have faith. When I suffered cardiac arrest a few years back, I was flat-lined on the living room floor. 3 of 5 Emergency room docs told mama to start making arrangements for me. One replacement mitral valve and a few months of rehab and I'm still kicking today. Mama told the docs that I was too hard-headed to die.
Hang in there.

30 days of hospital food? The blood poisoning must have been minor in comparison. So glad you are back!

Warren,
Sorry to hear, glad you are on the mend, keep fighting!!!

Prayers for a quick recovery.

Oh man bud, sorry for your struggles but sounds like you’re doing much better. Hang in there Warren! Need anything, just give a shout bud!

Tube fed for 30 days and bedridden to the point of losing the ability to walk. Now THAT's an ordeal. And pancreatitis is no joke. Worst pain I think I have ever had, and that includes two hernia surgeries and crushing my hand in a 130 ton press brake. I was told another pancreas attack could kill me...and still not smart enough to leave the bottle behind.

My dad is 81 and went through two major surgeries in the last couple years...had his heart attack at age 60. I'll be that "heart attack age" next year. You old dudes sure are tough when you want to be! Funny me saying that...I'm kind of an old dude! Dad's probably in better shape than I am. I may be able to lift and force things stronger than him (once I finish recovering from my latest hernia surgery) , but he has more endurance than me because he refuses to stay still...always doing something if he's not napping!

Best wishes for your continued recovery and hopefully full mobility again :emoji_thumbsup:
