Sorry... pun intended.

Question from a smokin' newbie.

Bought some ribs and they won't exactly fit in the  the smoker without touching the sides of the smoker.

Is this OK, or am I headed for disaster?

You don't really want to let those ribs touch the side of the smoker.  you can curl them up into rings (tied with butcher's twine) and stand them on end, or you can split the racks in half between two ribs.

Cutting them in half is the best option. IMHO.
