I wanted to post a few pictures of my rib "rack", or rib holder. I have had this for many years. I traditional full rack of ribs would not fit in my Smokin' it smoker #1 from many years ago. I would have to cut the ribs in half. therefore, if I ever wanted 2 racks of ribs, they would not fit. Addtionally, neither would most traditional rib holders.

Ikea to the rescue. I bought this rib holder. The stainless "VARIERA pot lid organizer" doubles as a rib holder if the bottom rubber pieces are unscrewed.

This accordion style rib holder will fit the needs of any size smoker or grill and is fully adjustable.

No, I didn't smoke ribs today, but I still wanted to share the tool. Enjoy.

I can't believe that I didn't post about this earlier. I have had this rack for a decade or so. It rarely gets used because the smoker I have now is large enough for my use. Hopefully, SMF can find some use for it.

Someone in their reviews actually suggests it for Sous Vide. Pretty Smart.

Overlooked this when you first posted.
What a novel use. You are creative.
Don't get up to IKEA much here in central Florida. Traffic absolutely sucks to get there but that was our only Costco choice until a year ago.
Now they opened a Costco just up the road so no incentive what so ever to make that drive.
Well maybe the rib rack.

Anyone try a rib rack yet?
Multi purpose tool . Can also be used in layout to divide things in equal sizes or spacing .
One side aligns on the starting point , other end goes on the end point . Mark all the lugs inbetween ,, equal spacing .
They actually sell one with smaller pointed lugs for that purpose .
