So for my 63rd on the 27 of august I am throwing a barbecue for my family.. so my wife asked what do I want and I said. I want a wagyu Brisket.. so she wants to order one from snake river farms. $149.00.
Is there some place better? Where does Arron Franklin get his brisket?

Out of my league Lemans, but I'll definitely be watching!

Don't know what mountain oysters are.. mountain ribs are spares cut single and are mixed with with bacon smoked on the cool side of the grill for 6 hours mixed with sauce and sprayed with vinegar every hour

Mountain Oysters are what the Ranch Hands have for lunch after a morning of Bull Calf Castration. Peeled, sliced, breaded and fried crisp...Mmm Mmm good, needs Hot Sauce though...JJ

Well that is one I will be watching for...... Sounds like a good time and have a Happy B'day...

Keep in mind getting a top quality brisket like that your finish temp will be lower, probably in the 190's
That's going to be some good eating!

I heard Franklin gets his from Creekstone Farms. Not Waygu though just prime cuts. I think you can get a 12 to 14lb prime from them for like $120. I doubt there is much if any difference between prime and Waygu other than price.

Good one John. I'd not heard that before...JJ
