Asparagus is so good...... It grows wild here.... along the roads and fence lines.... I gather the red seeds in the fall and throw them where I want more asparagus.... Wild is sooooooooo good.....

Does the same here. Never went out and picked though, since got ny  own crop.

Almost a 3 oz. growing along my fence line, not 20 yrds. from my patch. Never seen one this big before. Wife broke off, not cut and was woody at the bottom. Starting to flower.

Maybe should leave it. Fourth year.  Well planting more this year. Patch is 24 yrs. old. Read articles that doesn't last that long. Still coming up, but not as big, little overgrown with grass, no help on that part.

Once it's 2-3 years old, the more you cut it, the more it grows... That's what I hear anyway....
