Original Summer Sausage Kit​

Made according to directions, but for every 5 pounds of sausage I added:
  1. 1 Tablespoon whole mustard seeds
  2. 1 Tablespoon granulated garlic powder
  3. 1 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  4. 35 grams Fermento

I smoked this using hickory and cherry wood chunks. For our palates, this is the best summer sausage we have tried. Just the right amount of mild heat, tang, and garlicky flavors.

I will be making more for Christmas gifts.
