Smoked a tri tip on Friday. Not the best qview but here's couple shots of it. Tri tip has become nearly my most favorite thing to smoke. It tastes great, smokes super fast and my family likes it. Tri tip and corn sure work well together as well.

I like my tri tip around 140. This usually takes about 2 hours. Typically use hickory and Stubbs natural briquettes.

    Thanks,
    Bryce

Once you catch the tri tip bug it's hard to shake it! I have a special tri tip experiment that I am going to try this weekend. More on that this weekend!

Hahaha, under $80.00 - nice job. You're the shopper Costco hates, they need volume per transaction! We're the same way. We don't spend hundreds there. Thanks DS.

Case, can't wait to hear what's up your sleeve. I'm down to learn a new way if your experiment works out.

Thanks guys, yeah, tri tip is a great meat. $9.99 per lb. is expensive but we're not too far from that. I just like TT that much so I'd spend the $$$$!

Thank you Justin. Glad you're cook'in it up as well. Heck of a cut of meat and pretty easy to smoke. Pound for pound, got to be right up there with the best. Funny, not much work needs to go into smoking a TT but the results are fantastic.

    Hope you're doing well.
