More Pecan smoked Thighs

Fishing a tournament this Sat so I volunteered to smoke some Chicken Thighs 

Brined for a day rinsed and drained

Cooked at 200* to 235* for almost 3 hrs. 

IT was 180* when I pulled them

Gary Thanks for the point,I could walk into a Pecan Tree and wouldn't know it.Oak Maple Hickory up this way.

Around here lots of Oak, Hickory and Pecan,  Peach at the peach orchards   A little farther west (Getting close to Dallas) Mesquite

Nice looking thighs...... Its really had to beat pecan IMHO. Course with the trees in the back its a good thing! LOL

Someone that doesn't like smoked thighs like that, would probably kick a puppy. Nope someone like that, there is just something inheritly wrong with 'em.
