Looking for interest in a possible meetup for Middle Tennessee the end of April 30 to May 2, Fri-Sun. TNJAKE TNJAKE has graciously offered up his house/land (approx 15 ac) for a landing spot. He is just north of Nashville (approx 30 min). Hotels and grocery stores in the area. He has a variety of cookers. Let us know who all would be interested. I know I have what I consider friends on here that have been a big help to me in learning smoking and think it would be fun to actually meet some of y'all face to face. Of course this is contingent on what is going on with COVID and etc.

If you are interested pm me for my address

I am definitely interested. Got a pretty good bunch of vacation time racked up right now and more coming in March. I may just have to fire up the new truck and take a road trip. So many great folks from around that area I'd like to meet up with. I'll wait to see how things are going before sending the PM for your address though. A lot can happen in 6 months.

Fingers X'ed,
Robert

And this is a family friendly affair. Bring the wives and kids. We'll come up with something to keep them entertained.

Sorry Adam. We didn't think it would be a date conflict due to the distance. Should we change dates?

No. I will make it sometime. Its ok. IH is trying to get a spring Pa one going. Our fall one just had its 4 year. Not near as many because of covid. So If alot of people dont show. Dont worry about it. Even with only a few, its a great time.

Cool didn't want step on anyone's toes. I figured it's a non issue with Dillon based on distance. It's a great time to hold it here. Will still be cool but not cold. Sons 18th is the next weekend and that's a no go for me. After that it gets warm

My wife has gotten started on making her own wine. So she has 6 months to practice. So I'm sure that she will be bringing a few bottles to share.

Cool!! I made 5 cases of wine for our wedding when Tracy and I got married. That was good stuff. Have not made any since but I may have to make a keg of beer and bring it along for this one....maybe even two kegs depending on how many people are coming.

Different note Jim on a different thread: I knew you were joking sir. Absolutely no offense was taken...not in the least. That dinner invite stands if you ever feel like dropping by Texas one evening :emoji_wink:

Well come on down!! Between the huge rear patio and a couple of large covered porches, I have about 2,000 s.f That'll accommodate lots of different trash :emoji_laughing: You may wanna be careful too.No telling what sort of a dump you'll show up at :emoji_wink:
