I've used my MES140G once and determined that the tiny wheels that come with it aren't going to cut it for wheeling the smoker back and forth from my garage to my yard, so I built a cart for it. All in, this took about 8 hours start to finish, including 2 runs to the hardware store. Posting in case anyone else is looking for ideas as I was. Next step will be to finish the wood with polyurethane or some other clear finish, and attach a few hooks and doo-dads to hold my grill tools. Maybe a bottle opener too. The MES itself is bolted to the cart from the bottom using the same holes that were originally intended to attach the factory wheels and levelers. They should hold pretty well.

Looks good and easy to move. Nice job

I like the design. Do any of the wheels turn left or right?

The lack of turning wheels is a downside. I didn't think turning casters would work on my bumpy path to the patio, but after today I think I may try some casters after all.
