Best Damn WWII pilot in the Army Air Corps. He motivated me to learn to fly. Which motivated my oldest son to fly.
But he also taught me how to cook on a Weber. And that I can do anything on one.
Pop..... Thank you for what you did for our country and for me. I really miss ya man...

B, wonderful tribute to your Dad.. he’s smiling down on you my friend!

That Q there is an awesome tribute to an amazing man!

I started learning the smoking thing from my Grandpa... (learned Dutch oven from my Pa.)

Great post B! I never knew my dad, but my Grandpa taught me how to cook on a Weber. I see and hear him everytime I see a kettle! It is pretty awesome.

God Bless him, Brian!
You are a good Son.
And I have no doubt, your Son is a good Son, too.

Mine was a good Dad, too. He and Mom worked in Pearl Harbor for the duration.
Dad went over 1 week after. Mom, 6 months after.
Dad did electrical repair on the ships that came in for repair. Mom was a Secretary on the base.
My eldest Sister was Born in Hawaii, in 1945.

Anything. And that I can do anything on one.

OK. Ice Cream.
Can you make Ice Cream on your Weber? :D

Sounds like a fine man B. Who raised a fine son, who in turn raised another fine son.

Chris

RIP to Brian's Dad!!
And to any other Dad that I might have missed, if posted.
And to My Classmate of '66 Johnny Millikan, and Gary Holland (class of '62) who didn't make it back, and Mike Yotsko (another class of '66) who came back early & succumbed to the Agent Orange that Dupont said was safe.
