So, my son is WWE fan… he wanted to go to an event… We thought Sioux Falls, SD would be a fun road trip…. It has been a blast! Going to the WWE event tonight! Bought us the Superstar Experience… should be fun! He’s beyond excited…

So, in talks with my buddy Brokenhandle Brokenhandle we made plans to meet up… So glad we did… he and his awesome wife Shelly… two of the most top notch folks to meet!

We had some good food, drinks and conversation! They are some genuine top notch folks!

Some drink and food pics…

Apps… coconut shrimp and chislic…

Couple drinks…

Then Ryan wanted to go golfing… 🤣

I told him… he might lose his balls trying to golf! 🤷🏼‍♂️

Onto dinner…

Shelly’s chicken…

Ryan’s shrimp…

Pete, my son had the walleye… had a taste… WOW!

I had the pheasant risotto… was tasty!

What an honor to meet such outstanding folks… Ryan and Shelly are beyond phenomenal! Pete and I had such a great time!

Had some breakfast and a final pic… how time flies when you’re enjoying good friends company!

Was so cool… Thanks again Ryan and Shelly… you are both phenomenal folks and was our pleasure to meet up! 👊🏼🍻

Wow, looks like a great time was had by all! I'd bet it's something Pete will remember for the rest of his life. I can recall when my dad took me to see National Allstar Wrestling at the Cow Palace in San Franciso, heavyweight championship, Ray Stevens vs Cowboy Bob Ellis. Things like that stick with you forever, at least 60 years anyway. RAY
You all must have had a blast. Great times had by all. It's great when people from this Forum meet in person.

We definitely had a great time! I'll just throw in here for Rafter H BBQ Rafter H BBQ , he'll probably be pretty quiet for a day or so. It was a two day trip for him and Pete to get to Sioux Falls and starting the trip back home today. With possible stops at Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore along the way.

And DRKsmoking DRKsmoking , I can play hide and seek golf without all the snow! I just pull out the beer iron and away we go! :emoji_blush:

That's what makes this a great forum. Great food, great people and great memories!
Nice to hear good stories in these days and times.

Very cool. I still enjoy some wrestling - not nearly as much as I did when I was a kid. Grew up on Mid-South and Dallas. Took a buddy and his son to a Raw during the Attitude Era. Austin beat Undertaker for the title that night. It was not kid friendly lol. The wrestling wasn't so much risque as were the female fans. The Charlotte newspaper made a big stink about it because one of the refs was actively trying to get them to flash during commercial breaks. He was very successful.
