Meateater Made Me Do It!

    Thanks to meateaters post of those yummy looking lime wings I had to try it!

    I soaked some wings in the same juice as he used but vacume sealed them a bag and let them soak for a day!

    I smoked them in my UDS for 3 hours with apple smoke....MMMMMMM

    Here s the pics!

        Trying a deflector plate in the drum...hmmmmm...we'll see!

    Nice, that looks like an absolutely great idea for all the forthcoming gatherings we can expect this summer.  Since I suffer from STML (aka old age sneaking up), remind me again what lime juice that was.  I vaguely remember it was something you add adult beverages to.

    I found the Key West Lime Juice reference.  A question if I may:  Since the item is a concentrate, I want to dilute it, right?   We're reaching into new areas with this lime stuff.

    I am not gonna get any welding done with these kinds of posts.....moderator please have the wings removed.....and sent to my house.

  17. Those wings have fantastic color. Bet they were great. One question. Does the lime juice acidity start to cook the chicken at all after soaking for a day?
