So It's been a ruff couple of months and I haven't posted to much.  Life update; Divorced in November (who would of thought I would have to start dating again at 51

 ), one of my two staff members had to resign, I had 2 surgeries (doing well thanks), My folks invited me to Palm Springs for 5 days and wouldn't you know it they set new daily rainfall records 2 of those days!

Anyway I did get a new MES 40 as a post divorce gift to myself since I haven't got around to looking inside my MES 30 that broke. Had a big smoke when my oldest daughter was home over Christmas, and just recently this post with Quinoa got me going;

It is great and here is a pic with some smoked chicken, well worth it

So I'm going to throw one of my youngest daughter Kristyn helping me with some woodworking before she left for college in the fall, and she was one of the few young ladies who wasn't scared to go into the shop and new what she was doing, she's studying Architecture. Ya proud papa. (Like the pink gloves I got her?)

And now for the Christmas pics.
Chicken Mango Jalepeno Sausage Patties, Thanks to Scarbelly

Couple of fatties using spicy Italian sausage, shrooms, onions and chedar cheese. To much going on to do a proper bacon weave, but still taste good.

2 Turkeys (59 cents a pound with purchase, went back a second time for that price!) Buttermilk brined and thru on some rub from the first brisket I did (sorry no pics of that and for something that never happened it was good). (sorry don't remember who posted the brine)

Does this count as bear view?

Hot Links, and finally got them to that point where they are really hot but you still can get the flavor not just the heat.

Cajun Style Boudan (basic recipes here; http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/78035/boudan-sausage)

And of course with all of that work we needed some refreshment!

Thanks for looking, and what a great forum/family this is!
