Finally received my new Mav,.....now i can trust the temps on my therms.

Ok, so we're all fired up and excited to put the Mav to use. We set it up, connect all the probs, install batteries and insert meat prob into meat and what happens? HHH imediately. We haven't been able to clear it yet. Instructions say possible bad prob or wire but we literally just took this thing out of the package. Any reset tricks? Thanks.

It's good info if another member has an issue

Most of the time, the probes are not seated all the way into the socket

Very true. I'm sure i'm not the only one that will experience this.

mine did the same thing when I first turned it out, just unplugged the wires and plugged them back in, turned back on and its worked like a charm the last 3 weeks.
