My buddy upgraded to a nice high-end smoker and gifted me his small 3 in 1 he got off Amazon a couple of years back. I tried some venison that he also gifted me and it was DRY... I followed instructions, brined, seasoned, waited for an internal temp of 132 F and it was terrible... so I'm looking to pick up some tips & tricks from you guys.

Like JckDanls 07 JckDanls 07 said, try reasking your question in the appropriate sub (in your case, that'd be the Wild Game sub). Lots of guys here will get you on the right track!
