My buddy upgraded to a nice high-end smoker and gifted me his small 3 in 1 he got off Amazon a couple of years back. I tried some venison that he also gifted me and it was DRY... I followed instructions, brined, seasoned, waited for an internal temp of 132 F and it was terrible... so I'm looking to pick up some tips & tricks from you guys.

Welcome to your new addiction (SMF) ...

Now you'll want to go to the right category and post your questions as this catagory is for roll call ... The reason being... Most people don't come to roll call looking to help/be helped... Your questions will get more attention when posted in the correct catagory...

Welcome to SMF from SE GA and you've landed at the best spot on the worldwideweb!

Welcome from Hawaii!

Like @JckDanls 07 said, try reasking your question in the appropriate sub (in your case, that'd be the Wild Game sub). Lots of guys here will get you on the right track!

Welcome from Minnesota. If you can't find your answer this this group, you are asking the wrong questions. Side note, we love pictures of cooks in case you haven't noticed. This is an amazing group of people, if we can help we will. What type of rig were you gifted? Might help a few questions.

Welcome from Colorado. @JckDanls 07 is right, post this question up in another thread and you'll get much better response. 👍
