Hello, 

I am glad to join the forum. I check it all the time for tips and tricks so I thought I should go ahead and join. I live in Texas but grew up in Kansas City so BBQ is a big deal to me. I started doing my own smoking a couple years ago and I love it! I use an off set smoker, start with coal and carry with wood the whole smoke. I have nothing against electric smoker but I would never use one as the fun part to me is the baby sitting and experimenting. Thanks again for adding me to the forum.
