Hey guys, and a few gals...Just joined up here and love to learn from others ! My background is wholesale foodservice, I worked for Kraft while living in the USA.. Now, I live in Ukraine, and because I retired I cook even more ! Everything ! Here in Ukraine, the food is well, lets just say, "lacking ".. You all are spoiled with the wonderful choice you have in the usa. We have nothing to even compare, lol..Anyway, hope to meet a few of you,, happy cooking !

Still trying to find a refer type electric smoker I can buy somewhere in Europe, charbroil.eu has one that looks decent (#140722) but not available until April. Good news though,, they even wrote back to tell me !! hahahaha...And then there's the Bradley of course but your stuck using what they call biscuits that go into a nice little chamber that burns em up faster than you can buy them ! NO !! I prefer to use wood from my Cherry tree's right !!

Anyway, thanks again, nice chatting with you....

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum from a nice sunny day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.                          Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Thank you Gary

And yes I agree, this site a lot of fun, interesting, and is far better than watching the news ! I'm really looking forward to getting going here.. I made contact with the wholesale meat supplier, 15 kilo minimum orders so thats fine.. Seems to be the best quality I will be able to get here in the Ukraine.. I'm lucky when it comes to fish though. Norway which is just north of me has some of the best in the world.. Found yellowtail at my local market for $3 pound !! That should be great no matter how in-experienced I am at smoking ! Anyway, thanks again Gary..

Talk soon, Ken

Hey Ken, I understand where you are coming from. Back several years ago I was in Baku for over a year, No smoked meat everything was Hibachi  We were going to build a out , but just never got around to it.
