I love the Luhr-jehnsen smoker chips and searched online for a good price.I ended up buying them from the Sportsman Warehouse. The price was good and shipping time was alright and then they started sending me emails 4-5 times a week about deals. I unsubscribed from their emails and I now get 10 spam emails a day(I hadn't got 10 in 10 years) Coincidence? , I think not as the spam started with in hours of unsubscribing. So buyer beware with this company , I wouldn't do business with them again !!!

SW recently replaced field and stream stores in my area..seems all they changed in the stores was to come in and mark up field and streams already outrageous prices another 20-30% across the board.

First time / last time for me with sportsman's Warehouse!

We had one Sportsman's Warehouse in the Pittsburgh area but it closed about 5 years ago. Now the Field and Streams are closing. Coincidence? I think the anti-sportsmen groups are finally making their presence more prevalent.

Spam is what the delete button on the keyboard is for and that I can handle quite well. However, not being able to purchase items anymore for the things you love to do is just a crime!

Happy Holidays guys!

Some Ivy League MBA has convinced them that is the way to generate more sales. It doesn't work on me either.

They were one of a few decent outdoors stores that we had back in AZ. Never cheap but always stocked well on reloading components.

There's one near me. Most of their stuff does seem marked up, but their firearm prices are always much better than Cabela's. I bought my GMG Daniel Boone there a couple years ago; $525 seemed like a steal at the time. I saw it in their Black Friday mailer this year for, I think it was $379?

I have a SW near me. Used to shop there quite a bit several years ago...them BAM! Prices went beyond what I was willing to pay. I needed a single burner 30k BTU camp stove this year, and was willing to pay a little more to walk out of the store with one. Their price was almost double what I paid online. Straw...camel...not going back.
