LG900C2 Temp regulating issues

Hey yall, I recently bought a Lg900c2 off of Facebook marketplace and have had issues since the start with it. For some reason it cannot hold temp at all even after I replaced the RTD temp probe. I could set it to any temp whether it be 180 or 350 and it still would overheat to about 500 dependent on how long I want to wait in despairity hoping it would drop down. I don't want to give up on it so any help is appreciated. Should I try recalibrate it? Thanks!

IMO, about the only thing left if the RTD is good, would be the controller.
Try contacting Louisiana Grills. They would know.

By controller are you saying it could be the main unit that handles the heat and auger?

Yup, you have a controller, RTD, and fan.
You've replaced the RTD, fan has to be working or it would never get to 500, so one thing left.

Do you have a manual for it? It might have some troubleshooting tips.
I know nothing about that controller, but some allow some programming, such as an offset for temp.
Shot in the dark, but it would be something to check if it has that capability.
