Did 7 buckets this year . Got them going early , and they're all doing great .

Jalapeno
Habanero
Shishito
Anaheim
Thai
Garden bell .


The habs I've never grown before , but know about them .
The Shishito and Thai are new to me .
I know the shishitos are mild , but no idea what to do with them , and that plant is loaded .
The Thia plant is loaded too . Not sure what to do with those either .
Actually all the plants are loaded except for the garden bell , and the green bell .

Thai . Do they ripen up , or stay green ? I'm thinking they ripen .

Those Thai will ripen red some varieties orange, yellow, white. Funny how those little guys grow straight up in the air. Like Lemon Drop and others. The Shishito mild can be blistered in a oiled hot skillet and a little salt to snack on or in dishes or sauce. You may have to dehydrate to store those you can't give away when everything ripens later this Summer.

Yeah ,, different . My Tabasco was the same . This plant said Thai Edible ornamental on the tag .
Not sure what I'll do with them .
I've seen the Shishitos blistered and just piled on a plate .
I'm thinking I'll get a good yeild before it gets Africa hot in a few weeks .
Need to start picking some .

All my peppers doing good except the Habanero which is why I started this. Tons of blooms but only couple peppers.

My brother keeps a small container with fish sauce and thai peppers. Maybe something else? He spoons it over about everything.

Pick some of the peppers now , and look at trimming some of the foliage back .
I had a big Jalapeno and a couple small ones . I picked the large one 2 days ago , this morning the 2 small are about the size of the one I picked , and 4 more about half that size .

Give that bucket a couple love taps , incase it needs pollination help .

Had to erect a deer, rabbit, squirrel, and armadillo proof enclosure. Cut back on the volume of plants this year because we're focusing on getting our greenhouse built. (Slow and steady will win that race!) Lots of tomatoes, peppers, peas, blueberries, thorn less blackberries, herbs, etc. Garden is irrigated with an automatic drip tape system. Plants love it.

Nice set up . Love the green house . If I had a large lot or some land , I'd do a green house for sure .

Appreciate it! Both the greenhouse and the enclosure have been a labor of love. The greenhouse has been challenging but the enclosure really tested our patience! The helpful instructions showed the fenced roof floating up and perching itself in place effortlessly! The reality certainly differed!
