Let's cook a Turkey!!!

Toke out one 11 pound turkey from the freezer to smoke today. Doing it by the book except, I rubbed the outside down with Coconut cooking oil then rubbed a home made dry rub. Will post more pictures later.

Looks good so far. Did you brine

 Some do , some don't  ,  I don't do much brining but if someone wants it , I do. Trish likes the brining more than me.

Even with people over I was able to put some in the freezer. Will add pictures of what I cook with it.

I always enjoy a smoke turkey and don't think of it as only for the holidays.

I always do a separate breast when I do turkey so I can make sliced lunch meat for the week.  Yummy!  Looks great!
