Ours just started about a a hour ago…..prior to that it was a nice day….even got lunch at a food truck……..not some much now but we are only going to get an inch or so…..so lucky!

We got maybe 1.5 - 2 inches, but it turned to a brief round of freezing rain around 0500. it's supposed to be sunny and almost 40 later so this should disappear.

It's snowing up here also, but with the temps in the lower teens and single digits the flakes are pretty small. So no real accumulation - Yet.

Still brown grass here! I'm liking the color brown!

Finally getting some snow here in Northern Ontario. One of those slow snow falls that you can go out in the morning and clear the driveway and it has to be done again by supper time. Nice light and fluffy so not a big deal. I will wait till tomorrow and get it all cleaned up.

Not much here down in the valley so far…about a foot… but was chatting with a friend that said up on the Teton Mountain range has 7 feet of snow… and just East of there over in Wyoming he was told of a place that had 9 feet!

We usually get a lot more down here… most years I have to shovel the roof… and need no ladder to get down… just step off the roof!

My brother passed a few years ago and his wife still lives in their house above the snake river and west of the Tetons.
They can get many feet of snow, too.

I spent Christmas with them many years ago. I still remember the sigh of the timbers when a heavy load of snow slid off the roof.

Sorry for your loss…
