LCB Burger
LOW Country Boil Burger

View attachment 691695

I was inspired by all the flavors in a Low Country Boil (known by other regional names) Having made many LCBs and many inspired versions such as LCB tacos and LCB Pizza is was time for something new.

I started with fresh peeled and deveined Shrimp, added some Crawfish Tails, Andouille Sausage, Green Onions and Corn.

Seasoned with Cajun Seasoning, Black Pepper, Granulated Garlic and Worcestershire Sauce.

Added an Egg and Panko Bread Crumbs as a binder. Added some chopped up already cooked Bacon and formed into patties.

Pan fried these patties in the Bacon Fat.

Hey all... I know it's been a minute since I've been around, but I wanted to say thank you ALL for the likes and the "Feature"!

And this is what we were talking about.

Love the look and the process and why you did this cook.
But I hate shrimp so that is why I will do the same idea of a mix burger from another kind of meal

Love the idea.

Thanks .

David

So, LCB stands for Low Country Boil right.. and while it goes by many other names across the states, Shrimp is one of the main parts of the boil, along with corn, potatoes and sausage... and throwing in the crawfish is just a bonus too. Unfortunately, all the craw fish I get here is either frozen or whole crawfish that's already cooked so making a burger form that wouldn't be good.

I would venture to say that ground chicken would be a fantastic alternative to the shrimp.

Yes I knew the meaning for LCB, only because of the posts here a couple years back.
But love the idea of a burger or patty if you will. Made of any other kind of meal. My mind is grinding now. Idea to pop out soon lol.

I really hate shell fish of any kind. But I do dig and dive for Scallops, Lobster and clams and mussels for my sweetie as she loves them all.
I can cook them , just hate the texture. I guess I am more of a country boy , then a " Salt Water Cowboy " as she has called me before. 🤠 :emoji_laughing:

You won't get the shrimp texture from these burgers. Perhaps you can make these for her and have a bite. You might be surprised!
