Hey all, was in a bit of an accident a couple weeks ago which made my usual plans a no go for my Dad on Fathers Day...... Usually Q him up a nice ribeye.....

So kinda back to myself & been havin a real hankerin for some Q'ed up ribeye (my Dads fav) ! So had my parents over for a Friday nite Q !

To my Dad : Your my Hero & I Love Ya Buddy !!

Before the good ole SPOG ,
1 1/4 " thick cut from the local butcher shop...... :yahoo:

Awesome looking! Do you use regular onion powder?
Penzeys has me bought into their toasted onion powder. If you haven't tried it is recommend it.

Thanks sa, yeah I just usually use the store brand which round here is Western Family.... But thanks for the tip on the Penzeys, I'll for sure keep an eye out for that ! If I can find it, I'll let ya know when I try it !

Thanks as always for checkin in Red, really appreciate it ! Nothing to cure a hankering for a steak like one of these 1 1/4" ribeye's I tell ya what ! The RS was so awesome on these, they dang near just melted in your mouth..... I thank ya for the kind remarks & yes, be it a little slow I'am getting back to myself.... I appreciate your concern ! Hope all is well with you & yours too my friend ! Happy belated Fathers Day to ya ! :biggrin:

Thanks a bunch Bear, I really appreciate ya dropping a line & for the kind words..... Yeah, Dad had a big ole grin on his face eating that steak ! Probably similar I'am guessing to the grin on your face after your son grilled ya up that nice steak last weekend ! Hard to beat a good ole steak for sure..... Thanks again for dropping by buddy & I sure hope all is going good for ya ! Happy belated Fathers Day to ya ! :biggrin:
 
Rest of the Q view, we had some fryed up ranch taters my Mom made & some Pork & Beans.... And a few brews as well.....It was all a real tasty meal for sure !

Thanks Adam, we only get these a few times a year but Fathers Day is one of them times..... Plus they were on for a good price & just could not pass them up! There is nothin wrong with a Chuck steak bud, them are tasty as well... Thumbs Up Thanks for dropping a line !
