Lang called... getting my smoker tomorrow! --UPDATE--got it and have pics!

Hello All!
A few hours ago I received a call from Lang, my smoker is ready to be delivered tomorrow (Saturday) around 4pm.

I'm getting a Lang 48 on a patio cart with 4 pneumatic tires and swivel axel on the front.

Of course I can't wait! I have a 2 pack of Pam ready for seasoning it and a 1/2 cord of hickory, oak, and maple. My wife has named her Lucy. I will post a ton of pics when I get her.

I have 2 chickens, a turkey breast, 2 racks of babies, beef short ribs, a packer brisket, and a pork butt to smoke. how much time i have Sunday will determine what I smoke to christen her. Saturday I will just have time to season her.

Sorry for the long post and thanks for the read. I will update tomorrow with pics!

Never thought of using Pam, We always rubbed 'em down with peanut oil.

Congrats on that new pit. I have a couple a butts in right now, been in 12 hours. 175 IT at 220 chamber. Gonna be some juicy PP sammies tomorrow at lunch!

Congrats and remember to thank your bride for letting Lucy move in with ya.

So i finally got Lucy (the new Lang 48 patio) today. there was a traffic jam due to an accident on the interstate coming to my home so they were an hour and half late (5:30pm). i told the driver no big deal just arrive safely. But when they pulled up, they had my new smoker! it was so late i haven't had time to smoke anything on her. I did however coat her in PAM canola spray inside and out and season her for a few hours and steam her good a couple times. I know i know didnt happen if there is no pictures....so i have pictures!
