I havent done a loaf in a long time. Show us your coal setup please.

Same here haven't done one in probably 8 months. Need to now. Waiting for the finish

We have smoked meatloaf fairly often, it's one of our favorite comfort foods.

if you freeze it a little, u dont need to use a pan when smoking a meatloaf. i usually do logs, just rolling it up in a freezer bag, but have lined meatloaf pans with parchment and froze them that way too.

Flipped it out of the pan. Shook a little more SPG on top

I wanted to ask what held a free standing loaf together.
My only meatloaf on the grill slumped. I was thinking to make a pan out of the grill mesh sheets to hold it up.

I put plastic wrap in the pan and put it back in the fridge.

Its the egg and bread crumbs. I used seasoned italian. Recipe called for 2 cups but next time im going with 1 cup

Looks really good. We like meatloaf, but I do mine naked, no sauce of any kind on the outside. I have never smoked one so that'll be my next meatloaf project.

Good looking meatloaf Rick!
I use a combo of ground brisket & ground hot Italian sausage.
We love it!
Al

Looks great. But what was you turn against adding the pork. We always do just beef.
