Evening fellas and non fellas. Got some kalbi ribs at sam's the other day. Paired them up with an egg roll bowl.

Here's the ribs

Got the Weber kettle running with Kingsford hickory charcoal. And threw them on when the coals were ready. Here's a shot on the hood of my truck waiting on the flames

Once on started brushing with this sauce we really like to get the Korean bbq flavor I was after. This sauce is delicious

Pulled them off after the fat rendered and they had good color

We used these to pair with an egg roll bowl that I posted a couple months ago. Not the prettiest picture of my bowl but these short ribs were off the chart delicious. Here's a link to the eggroll bowl if you are interested

Looks good Jake. I bet they didn't take along to cook

Good lookin' Galbi. :emoji_thumbsup:
I've got a 4 lb pack from Costco in the freeze that need to be done soon.
Thanks for the nudge.

Jake you nailed those!! For me that’s exactly the flavors needed with the Kalbi cut. You know I love egg roll bowls too. Heck of a meal man!

Looks great , I like that hickory charcoal, don't like the price though, don't forget to try the hickory bark trick , small pieces when the meat is put on, What store you get the sauce from?

Hmm what is this hickory bark trick?

Jake, great looking short ribs, I might try that sauce, I normally like to baste
with Soya Sauce ,light salt and pepper only

They are one of my top favorite beef cuts to have.
I just did a small batch last week . I think I had them

Jake, those ribs look phenomenal and oriental/Asian flavors are near the top of my list of favorites. Great job!!
