Decided to cook a brisket over night on Saturday. Picked this up at Sams. Not a bad price.

Thanks but its jar gravy. I am not keen on making my own.
Nothing wrong with jar gravy...my wife is usually the gravy maker...she's dang good at it. I can make it, just not as good or as fast as she can. In my defense she has years more practice and a mom and grandma that passed it on to her.

Thanks. The sliced on the cutting board was from the flat. Best flat that I have ever made I think. Juicy and tender.
 
Good to see you pulled the smoker out of the barn. I was starting to worry you might soon forget how it works.

Yup. Been campfire cooking, havent smoked for quite awhile. Hams and bacons last fall I think.

I smoked a prime flat from the other box store on Saturday. Point went into the cure. (Same price, too.)
Sunday morning I smoked a cavatappi and cheese. Sunday afternoon I went to a tractor pull.
