Still need to make a few more pounds...but I now have 5 pounds (20-3 oz. packs) of various jerky flavors ready for use as stocking stuffers - always a holiday favorite.

My go-to meat is beef eye-of-round. I used to buy the cryo-pack at Sam's and clean it up myself. But it only saves about 10 cents per pound. However, if you are wanting to make tallow - get the cryo-pack.

I still prefer Owens BBQ for my jerky supplies. I mostly use "original" and doctor it up from there. My main flavors are Tex-Mex, Garlic-Pepper, Chipotle, Double-Chipotle, and my secret recipe/most popular flavor - Silver.
