Hello,

I am new  to this  site, and decided to share  with others what Knowledge I have of  Smoking/grilling   foods! This is deff a very good site for that sort of information, as I have learned quite a bit in my few  visits here. I Recieved a  MES 40, as a Fathers day Gift, and couldnt  wait to Try it  out! So..... I decided to go simple on the first smoke, so i did like  50 chicken wings! They turned out very good! They were Juicy, Tender, and  the texture was very good  on them! I was highly Impressed with the  MES  40! Here are a  few  Qview

Bassin, morning and welcome to the forum........  Good looking wings.... congrats on the new smoker...  If you have any problems with the smoker, I noticed you were using an extension cord.... it looks a little small (wire gauge)....  try a 12 or 10 ga. ext cord if you can find one.... it makes some problems go away when using the MES....  Dave

Hello,

Thanks, I have a heavier gauge  cord for the  smoker, but, due to rain,  I had to relocate the operation near the garage, and  used  the nearest  cord  I had

available. I am waiting on my cover to arrive, to  locate on the patio where it will be used from here on out.
