Hi guys. Having people over tonight and making ribs. I noticed the package on one says packed 3/11/19, sell by 04-08/19. The others were picked yesterday. Is the one packed on the 11th still good, I know what the sell by date is. I just get weirded out by pork and that seems like a while ago it was packed. I just don’t want to get anyone sick

Dates mean little to anyone but the Grocery folks. Look at the package. Sealed? Not puffy? Open it, along with a fresher pack. They will have a raw meat funk, but that should dissipate in a minute or two or can be rinsed away. Any NASTY smell or unpleasant smell that lingers, is a sign that your ribs are shot. The NOSE...KNOWS!...JJ

Unless something went wrong in packing you should be fine, it does say sell by 4/8 and you would have time beyond that too use.
