I added a thermometer from Wal-Mart, because Ideal is not very specific.

Acquired Entire rig including electric element for $10 at a garage sale last spring.

Have successfully smoked Ribs, Pork Butt, Turkey, Brisket, and today I am smoking my first Ham for Easter using applewood.

Love the site, its the only place I go on the internet for information about smoking.

    thanks everyone!

p.s. Will post pictures of ham later.
