HI all,

I have a bag of Instacure #1 that is about 4-5 years old.  I've kept in wrapped tightly and put away.

Does this stuff have a shelf life?  Is it still ok?

Making smoked sausage soon and want to be sure,

Thanks!

JEN

Kept dry it has an indefinite shelf life.

It's mainly rocks..

  Have a great day!

It's mostly salt, they dig it out of mines and it's already millions of years old, so why worry if it's got  a shelf life

That was my thought also, if it hasn't expired in that time frame it probably wouldn't expire in our lifetime. LOL
