insta cure #1

i ordered this insta cure$1 from amazon, and when i recieved it the color was not pink, it was white. is this product okay?

open it up and post a picture of it on and near a white back drop. it is a light pink not like an electric pink typically. mine is from the sausage maker and it is definitely pink color.

I have seen white instacure. It's called SuperCure in Canada.

It's my understanding that it's a requirement in the U.S. that instacure/Prague powder be tinted pink. Canada does not have this requirement and their instacure is sold in its white form. You may have purchased a batch that was made in Canada for Canadian consumption only.

It should be pink by the description. I order/use this by the 50# and over time, even in ideal storage, it loses it's color but still works fine. That being said, you shouldn't have received a batch that has lost it's color. The color is there for safety reasons so you don't confuse it with any other white substance and poison yourself or someone else. You have a choice, insist on a new batch because you didn't get what you ordered, or just use it. It will work

That does not look pink,the pic is to blurry for me to read.I would call the company and ask why isn't it pink.

You could just eat the cost,and order from Butcher Packer,Sausage Maker
