My name is Dan, I'm having a smokeout for my 40th birthday over July 4.  Got started grill-smoking on a Weber 18.5, upgraded to a 22.5.  I built an upright drum smoker with plans found on this site.  I recently added a Brinkmann Smoke n' Pit which I find works rather well if you're willing to babysit it all afternoon.  I do my smoking in a small Chicagoland backyard along with my three chickens, pork-loving dog, and three occasionally helpful children.
